Like Roberto Bolaño’s 2666 or Faulkner’s greatest novels, Hurricane Season takes place in a world filled with mythology and violence—real violence, the kind that seeps into the soil, poisoning everything around: it’s a world that becomes more terrifying and more terrifyingly real the deeper you explore it.

The Toronto International Festival of Authors is based at Harbourfront Centre, which is closed to the public until further notice in view of the COVID-19 public health emergency. The TIFA team continues to work remotely to create the 41st Toronto International Festival of Authors, which takes place October 22 to November 1, 2020.
