Possible Futures is excited to welcome Anne de Marcken to celebrate the release of her debut novel It Lasts Forever and Then It's Over.
Anne de Marcken is a writer and interdisciplinary artist. Winner of The Novel Prize, It Lasts Forever and Then It’s Over is her debut novel, published simultaneously by New Directions (US), Fitzcarraldo Editions (UK) and Giramondo (AU). She is also author of the lyric novella, The Accident: An Account (Spuyten Duyvil, 2020), and her writing has been featured in Best New American Voices, Ploughshares, Narrative, Entropy, Glimmer Train, Southern Indiana Review, on NPR’s Selected Shorts and elsewhere. She has received fellowship and award recognition for her work across disciplines in film, site-specific installation and writing. Anne is the founding Editor and Publisher of the innovative small press The 3rd Thing. She lives and works on the unceded land of the Coast Salish people in Olympia, WA.
