Join poets Patricio Ferrari, John Keene, Vijay Seshadri, and Mónica de la Torre for a re-examination of Fernando Pessoa, the seminal Portugese poet who wrote in a guise of a myriad of personae with distinct biographies and aesthetics.

Upon the release of a new translation of “The Book of Disquiet,” his fragmentary “factless autobiography,” panelists discuss Pessoa’s inventive rejection of a singular authentic authorial voice and its legacy for contemporary poetry.
