Join New Directions and BOMB for a reading by Japanese author Takashi Hiraide, author of the New York Times Best Seller, The Guest Cat. Called “careful, elegantly, lovely” (New York Times Book Review)," and beautiful and profound" (NPR) The Guest Cat is a detailed and “and unusally intimate” novel about a cat that enters the lives of a lonely couple. A short Q & A will follow the reading, and light refreshments will be served.
