Zakia Henderson-Brown, a 2016 Poets House Emerging Poets fellow, has received fellowships from Fine Arts Work Center, Callaloo, and Cave Canem. Chinelo Okparanta is the author of the story collection Happiness, Like Water and the novel Under the Udala Trees (Houghton Mifflin, 2015).
